I think you mean Boddenberg. I would say not because that Lotus has a Climax engine and Boddenberg had the ex Geoghegan Lotus 32 which had a Twincam.

Is #90 Helene Bittner?

Dale.

My thoughts too on Helene?

Stanley and Mel are instantly recognisable. And I did not know either for probably 15 years after that pic.

Peter’s shot (previous post) shows John Ampt’s car. Very similar rear end spec to mine.

An Elfin 100-related story...

Brian Rawlings, who was to go on to build quite a number of Bulant Clubmans and Bulanti coupes, had found his way to Adelaide and walked into the Edwardstown factory looking for a job. He'd been there a little while when he was approached about a job that had to be done on (I think) the Andy Brown Clisby-engined car.

"I see you're good with the arc welder, Brian, can you have a look at this little job?"

He was shown a crack or flaw inside the monocoque, you know what I mean, James, in where the fuel lives. He responded that he could do that all right and everything was put in place to get the job done.

Brian set the ampherage, fitted up an appropriate electrode, donned his mask and got into a position where he could comfortably reach in and get the job welded. And so he welded it up.

Taking off his mask, he turned to ask, "Is that all right?"

There was nobody there! They'd all bolted outside the door while he'd done it...

Looks like he didn't race that meeting...

Or I'm missing a card. The last entry I have for him is September, '69, he did 1:37.6 and came ninth, lapped once, in a 15-lapper.

Nice to see half a dozen Monos mixing it with all comers towards the end of 1968

The Monos seemed to be well-suited to Calder for some reason...

They had many successes there not seen elsewhere.

I never question anybody's tool aquisition endeavors, but I have to ask - what are you measuring with this awesome device?

Dredger Bogie wheels & bogie frame gaps so far.

But the primary purpose for acquisition is to gauge the OD of magnesium wheel castings as they are turned down to final size and the long jaws enable me to get to the OD without needing to get at them end on. That is, I can get to the diameter whilst the job is in the lathe anywhere along the “barrel” of the wheel casting.
