Hi all,

I just have experienced my first karting yesterday night. I just wonder what technique do you used to take a sharp corner? I have been in racing cars on race tracks but when came to karting, my lap time was so much slower than my female friend but I already drive very hard and slide all over the place. Are you supposed to prevent the kart to slide and take it smoothly into the corner?? Because it seems to me after you slide you waste too much time on accelerating back out of the corner.
