I often hear talk of how much power the current F-1 Engines have but I would be interested to know of the current F-1 Engines rate in terms of Acceleration and response? From watching the race in Australia it seemed that the McLaren-Mercedes had the edge in both Acceleration and Top speed to the Ferrari.

The only figure I've seen when counting acceleration is 5.2s for 0-200kph and back to 0. Total that is. Topspeed is about 350 kph I think since aerodynamics is limiting straightline speed. If you peeled of the wings and winglets you'll probably go past 400 kph. IMHO.
