[Hat Sharpener]

Hello. I am writing a paper for my technical communications class regarding safety in open wheel racing circuits. I would like to know if anyone knows of any sources about the tethering systems used in F1, CART, and / or the IRL. I am looking for information ranging from descriptions of the actual mechanism to statistics regarding its use. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
