I realize Yahoo! shut down their groups in December 2020, but somehow the Racing History group continued on, albeit with very infrequent postings. I went to check in last week and I am now directed to the Yahoo! News homepage.
Fitting with Don Capps discussion in the thread "23", I hope someone archived the research that went on there. There was a time (roughly 2000-2010) when a great deal of good information on U.S. oval racing pre-1970 went on there. With participants that included writers and racers, such as Don Radbruch, Len Sutton and several others, it used to be a good place to make queries and receive answers. It was a very useful site.
