His comment bout being too close to it to appreciate the end result is lol too familiar. It’s like the awareness of the comprises and shortcomings and the bits that you couldn’t execute to your expectations all serve to sort of dull the enjoyment in the end. The process has always been much more rewarding than the finished project.
