That is really pretty nice. I was always surprised that GM didn't take advantage of the styling cues from the lovely Monza AAGT cars and make a street version of that-they surely could have even gotten a license from IMSA to use that acronym. I would have bought one!

They did make this but it was meh at best.

Agree. I had forgotten about that, it is a bit half hearted.
And speaking of Monza fun, here is a nice video of the 1976 GT race at Road Atlanta, lots of lovely cars competing. It is a good reminder of just how good Al Holbert was, amazing.
