I saw him at AIR in F2. Fast and very consistent. Watching him both qualify and then race with laps no more than 3/10ths of a lap different.

Cesario is an interesting one. I had a long chat with Chris Kane about him (he used to do all my b/w processing after I stopped doing it myself) - Chris raced the ex Norden March replica in the early 80's F2 series. No doubt he was a quick, capable racer. The RT3 did give him an advantage over the rest of them though and he used it well, winning lots of races and the series in a very dominant display. Colin Bond apparently used to say he was good till the "red mist" descended and he'd start overdriving. I must say I was amazed at the time when he joined the works Lancia team - heady stuff....

I got to know him when he secured sponsorship from PYE, I was working on another PYE sponsored team. He was a really nice guy. I became a fan.

Not sure if its Warwick Rooklyn or Lucio driving, others might recall his helmet from the era. They finished 18th that year.
