can anyone help and advise the name of entrant #22 in this years event in an XK120?

The driver was Wenceslao Infante. It is unclear whether he came 3rd outright or 3rd in class.

 

It was not in the GP proper, but the "Havana National" support race for production cars.

There is a photo of supposedly of this race with the caption quoting Infante as the driver but carrying number 40. I will try to find it again and post it.

 

He is another pic I think of the same car.

 

 

In this 1957 race a Mercedes-Benz 300SL was driven by Modesto Bolanos. The previous year Bolanos was competing in a Jaguar XK120 which appears to be the same shade (black and white photo) so it is possible that it is the same car.

Here's that other pic that the caption claims is Infante ahead of Regalado's Ferrari 212.

 

It certainly is 1957.
