Given that this was clearly the best race of the season instead of the processions we regularly see on traditional European tracks, I suppose it is too much of a request that the died-in-the wool America haters on this forum will finally admit the error of their ways. Let the excuses and complaints continue!!! Rule Britannia!
I think this has been addressed further up, the issue is with Liberty rather than America or Americans, and the route that Liberty is taking the sport down, which is more in line with sports entertainment, which is typically associated with US sports. Should it be addressed here? Why not, F1/GP is at the top of the pyramid in motorsport terms and the model that Liberty is developing may be replicated in other forms of motorsport, not just on the support package of the F1 world championship but in other areas, we can see MotoGP has increased the amount of races, introduced sprint races on a Saturday so they are clearly influenced by the Liberty model. We all have an idea of how a race or series should be ran and we want to hold onto it for as long as we can, be that for nostalgia reasons, integrity reasons, or something else.
We don't need to make it personal or xenophobic, and posters old and new shouldn't be driven away, forums evolve but respect for each other regardless of where we come from or what opinion we hold should remain.
