A. J. Korczynski:

https://www.racingsp...czynski-GB.html

Said to be chassis #203? Certainly at Silverstone, 1959. Was he ever entered at Goodwood?

A.M.O.C. Silverstone, 23 May 1959, David Brown 200-mile relay race:

1. Lotus No 4 team (J. Graydon-Whitehead, P. D. Anders, A. T. Korczynsky, Mrs. R. Bluebelle Gibbs)

Who is this, #3B? (Definitely 200 miles, not 100 miles.)

https://library.revs...le-relay/447331

Also at Snetterton, Sunday 7 September 1958.

Surely as a ‘motor racing historian’ you know exactly where to find this information….

Presumably in the Goodwood reference books which I don't have?

The whole point of TNF is that it is 'give and take.' Try finding the Silverstone result I gave above elsewhere on the internet?

This is part of trying to find XJH 781   if you are familiar with this thread you will know that this is a quest that has been running for some years and has, so far, defeated everyone here.

"Was he ever entered at Goodwood?"

Rupert

I've checked the Index of Robert Barker's A Record of Motor Racing at Goodwood and he is not listed

#3B at Silverstone is Edward  Hine  - Lotus XI (1958 model year). He was part of a team called Equipe South Africa the other members of which were G. Morgan, Tony Maggs, Louis Jacobsz, all in 1098cc Lotus XI's.  Lotus No 1 Team (source event programme)

(btw  the Sprite in the photo is #18A of Edgar B. Wadsworth)

1. Lotus No 4 team (J. Graydon-Whitehead, P. D. Anders, A. T. Korczynsky, Mrs. R. Bluebelle Gibbs - reserve, but ran)

2. Jaguar No 4 team (R. F. Taylor, D. J. Uren, F. G. Brown)

3. Lotus No 3 team (D. Hitches, E. A. Martin, M. R. Eyre)

4. Healey Sprite No 2 team

5. Healey Sprite No 1 team

6. Peerless No 1 team

Winning average 67.77 mph, 2hr 33min 44.6sec?

19 teams, Graham Hill in a Lotus Elite.

Birmingham Daily Post, Monday 25 May 1959, Page 5

Does the programme identify Lotus car capacities e.g. 1098, 1172 etc? Car colours?

Off topic can you identify the other runners and riders in the results?

Another Peerless team?

No colours given in the programme but here are the teams as listed.  21 teams listed but Team 21 (Rileys) and Team 20 (Astons) did not run.
