I really really want to get full races on video from the 1960's and 1970's, especially the 1967 season. Someone must have copies of some races on video they are willing to sell copies of. Please help, even if you only have 1 race.

I think you need to provide a little more information. What type of motor sport are you interested in? You would be amazed at how LITTLE there is in the form of full race TV or film records before the 1980's. Your profile does'nt give any details as to where you live. This may be important because of the various video and TV formats that exist.

Sorry, I should have made myself clear. I live in the UK but had the ability to watch PAL and NTSC formats. I am interested in F1 only. So any Formula 1 races from the sixties or seventies especially 1967 would be great. I do not mind if the language in not English. If anyone is willing to sell me any copies then email me at,

That does narrow things down a bit. As I said, I think you will find it very difficult film or video tape of entire GP races. You only have to look at the clips that keep getting trotted out everytime a retrospective documentary is made. For example, I've only ever seen a video record of ONE 1967 GP, the Italian race at Monza so there may be a tape of that somewhere. Needless to say, its in black and white. Film sources may be better, but obviously film recot=rds, by their nature, tend to be of race exerpts. On the plus side you are likely to come across colour film. A good partial record of the 1967 season is the film "9 Days in Summer" which is a history of the Cosworth DFV's first season (biased in favour of Ford naturally).

Try Duke-video for a color 20+ min video of the 1967 Germen GP. I guess that you are interested in 1967 because of the GP Legends PC game. I feel the same fustration. I can not find Videos on anything earlier than what Duke have from the 1980's. I guess that if there is any it is on film somwhere.
